Additional information

The substance [cyclohexane-1,2-diylbis[nitrilobis(methylene)]]tetrakisphosphonic acid, sodium salt (ALBRITE CIXN) is a solid that is manufactured as an aqueous solution. The result of a DSC test demonstrates that the anhydrous form of the acid undergoes decomposition at approximately XXK, it has a relative density values of 1.30 g/cm³ at 20°C. It has a predicted vapour pressure of <1.2E-08 Pa at 25°C and a predicted log Kow of -4.

Phosphonate salts are highly water soluble, concentration of about XX g/l was reported for CHDPMP-xNa.

CHDPMP-xNa is not classified as a flammable solid according to the criteria of Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008, because no ignition was observed during the study conducted in accordance to EU Test Method A.10. In addition, there is no evidence from either examination of the chemical structure or experience in use and handling that the substance is flammable in contact with air or water. CHDPMP-xNa is not explosive and does not exhibit oxidising properties based on structural examination.
