Executive summary:

The melting point of the substance was determined with DSC ( Mettler Toledo, DSC 823e, 25 – 250/350°C, 10 K/min, aluminium pan with hole). Since decomposition occurs at about 175 °C, a melting point was defined after heating and cooling procedure as higher than 250°C.
