Materials and methods

Test guideline
Qualifier:
no guideline followed
Principles of method if other than guideline:
- Principle of test: Toxicity on dahpnie was determined by testing several haloalkanes.
- Short description of test conditions: 20 daphnia were tested in 100 mL test solution with six different concentrations at 25 +/- 1°C, static exposure.
- Parameters analysed / observed: After an incubation period of 4 h, mortality was observed. If the concentration of the test solution for mortality was beyond the test range, the test was repeated with a more appropriate concentration.
GLP compliance:
no
