The lowest value of the auto ignition temperature is 267 °C.This value was determined using 4 drops of test substance. The test substance showed auto ignition after 32 seconds.

The auto ignition temperature (result of determination) is the lowest value from the lowest values of the experiments, rounded down to a whole multiple of 5 °C. Therefore, the auto ignition temperature is stated as 265 °C.

Validity

The requirements for precision of the DIN standard in case of one observer and one test system (no interlaboratory testing, no second observer) are stated as follows: Sufficient accordance is reached if the largest difference between measured temperatures was:

- at the most 5 °C for ignition temperatures up to 300 °C

- at the most 10 °C for ignition temperatures above 300 °C.

As these demands are not fulfilled, the higher temperature is discarded.

As no difference between three evaluated measured ignition temperatures, accordance with the demands of the DIN standard is given.

Conclusions:
Under the test conditions, the auto-ignition temperature of the test item was stated as 265 °C between 99,636 and 100,580 kPa.
This parameter/method is not relevant for classification, however the information is useful regarding potential additional fire hazard. No particular hazard is anticipated in normal conditions of storage.

A non-GLP study was performed in order to determine the auto-ignition temperature of the test substance in compliance with the EU-Method A.15 and stardard DIN 51794 listed in EU A15. 

The auto ignition temperature was determined in three independent determinations.

The lowest auto-ignition temperature of the test item was determined to be 267°C in the main test. Due to safety reasons and according to the guidelines the lowest measured temperature at which an ignition was observed was rounded to the next lower number divisible by 5.

The test substance has been determined to have an auto-ignition temperature of 265°C.
