Details on results:
A saturated stock solution of the test substance in n-octanol saturated water was prepared.
To 5 ml, 10 ml and 20 ml of the filtered stock solution 10 ml of water saturated n-octanol were added. The two-phase system was shaken vigorously at room temperature (23 °C) for one hour. Subsequently the phases were separated by centrifugation for 20 min at 1450 rpm and the test substance concentration in each phase was determined by HPLC.
Stock solution: 1000 mg/l = 630 mg/l active substance.
Conclusions:
The test substance has a log Pow of -4.5 at 23°C.
