Description of key information

The melting range of the substance was determined in a guideline study (OECD 102, 1995; EU A.1, 2008; OPPTS 830.7200, 1998; CIPAC MT 1, 2009) with the DSC method as 1.7 to 3.3 °C at 1013 hPa.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
1.7 °C

Additional information

The lower limit of the melting range is preferred because the absence of impurities leads to lower melting points.
