Description of key information

Gestonoronacetate does not contain functional groups which are susceptible to hydrolytic degradation. Hydrolytic stability is thus to be expected.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

On basis of the structural similarity with ZK 5189, ZK 5690 and ZK 46034 the test substance is to be considered hydrolytically stable at pH values < 7. Above pH 7 hydrolytic degradation increasing with pH will occur. At pH 9 and 25°C a half-life in the range of 120 to 150 days is to be expected (Report No. A02154).
