Description of key information

Toxicity to soil microorganisms except arthropods:

In accordance with column 2 of Annex IX of the REACH regulation, the study does not need to be conducted as this end point was considered for waiver since direct or indirect exposure to the soil compartment is highly unlikely; given the use of this chemical for preparation of perfumes and making up and cleansing keratin materials. Hence it is expected that toxicity to the soil macro-organisms with the test chemical is unlikely.

Toxicity to terrestrial arthropods:

In accordance with column 2 of Annex IX of the REACH regulation, the study does not need to be conducted as this end point was considered for waiver since direct or indirect exposure to the soil compartment is highly unlikely; given the use of this chemical for preparation of perfumes and making up and cleansing keratin materials. Hence it is expected that toxicity to the terrestrial arthropods with the test chemical is unlikely.

Toxicity to terrestrial plants:

In accordance with column 2 of Annex IX of the REACH regulation, the study does not need to be conducted as this end point was considered for waiver since direct or indirect exposure to the soil compartment is highly unlikely; given the use of this chemical for preparation of perfumes and making up and cleansing keratin materials. Hence it is expected that toxicity to the terrestrial plants with the test chemical is unlikely.
