Additional information

The substance is a brown powder at 101325 hPa and 20 °C.

Between 30 and 140 °C there is release of water/ solvent, followed by a degradation between 213 and 373 °C (onset at 244.1 °C, enthalpy = 178.3 J/g).

The relative density was determined by means of a pycnometer and recorded at 1.615 at 20 °C.

The particle size distribution of the test item was analyzed using the Mastersizer 2000 tool and the MMD resulted was 50.061 µm.

The substance is very soluble (50640 mg/l) and the logKow value was calculated as -0.8821 (average Pow: 0.1327).

Properties like vapour pressure, surface tension and flash point can be neglected.

The substance is not falammable and it is not expected to be auto-flammable, explosive and it is deemed to be potentially not oxidising based on the chemical structure, the oxygen balance values, the thermal behaviour and the known experience in the handling and use of the substance.
