According to the REACH Regulation, Annex VII, Column 2, the study does not need to be conducted if the substance is incapable of reacting exothermically with combustible materials, for example on the basis of the chemical structure (e.g. organic substances not containing oxygen or halogen atoms and these elements are not chemically bonded to nitrogen or oxygen, or inorganic substances not containing oxygen or halogen atoms). based on the evaluation of the chemical structure, the substance is considered to be as non oxidising.
Justification for classification or non-classification
Based on the information and review of the substance, it is deemed not to be potentially oxidising, based on structure (all subunits are not classified as oxidising substances), oxygen balance values and the known experience in the handling and use of substances. Therefore, the substance is not classified as oxidising.
