Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The substance is a red powder at 1013 hPa and 20 °C.

No melting of substance occurs up to 450 °C. Release of water / solvent occurs between 25 and 120 °C, followed by slight endothermic events and by decomposition between 241 and 322 °C.

Relative density is determined by using a pycnometer and is 1.268 at 20 °C.

The particle size distribution gave a MMD of 30.999 µm.

The substance is practically not soluble in water at 20 °C and has a log Pow of 2.2086, showing higher affinity to the organic phase than to the water phase.

The substance is not expected to be auto-flammable and flammable based on experimental data on similar substances as well as on a prolonged experience in dealing with the substance under various conditions of use, storage and transport.

The substance is considered as non explosive and it is deemed not to be potentially oxidising, based on thermal behaviour showed in DSC analysis, negative oxygen balance values and known experience in handling and use.

Other properties, e.g. vapour pressure, surface tension and flash point can be neglected, as not relevant for target substance.
