Description of key information

Additional information

The substance is a light orange powder at 101325 hPa and 20 °C.

Between 99 and 145 °C, there is a endothermic peak associated to the boiling of water/ solvent, followed by an exothermic event related to degradation between 248 and 387 °C; therefore boiling point is not recorded.

The relative density was determined by means of a pycnometer and recorded at 1.177 at 20 °C.

The particle size distribution of the test item was analyzed using the Mastersizer 2000 tool and the MMD resulted was µm.

The substance is soluble and the logKow value was calculated as 1.5764 (average Pow: 38.3275), showing a affinity to organic solvent.

Properties like vapour pressure, surface tension and flash point can be neglected.

The substance is not expected to be auto-flammable, flammable, explosive and it is deemed to be potentially not oxidising based on the chemical structure, the oxygen balance values, the thermal behaviour and the known experience in the handling and use of the substance.
