First-aid measures

GENERAL INFORMATION
Do not get in eyes, on skin or clothing
Do not breathe dust or mist
Avoid formation of dust and aerosols
Inhalation of vapors may cause irritation to the upper respiratory tract

CONTACT WITH EYE
Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.

CONTACT WITH SKIN
Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water removing all contaminated clothes and contaminated shoes. Wash with warm water and soap. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.

SWELLOW
Induce vomiting, but only if victim is fully conscious. Drink plenty of water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Call a doctor or Poison Control Center.

INHALATION
Move to fresh air. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.

PROTECTION OF FIRST-AIDERS
Take appropriate steps to avoid fire, explosion and inhalation hazards.

Fire-fighting measures

- Suitable extinguishing media: Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment. Foaming agent. contains organic solvents. Water spray. Dry chemical. Carbon dioxide (CO2).
- Extinguishing media not to be used for safety reasons: none.

- Protective Equipment and Precautions for Firefighters: standard procedure for chemical fires. Evacuate personnel to safe areas. Evacuate area and fight fire from a safe distance. Worn in case of fire, if necessary, respiratory protection devices with independent air supply.

- Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Do not breathe vapors or spray mist. Wear protective clothing. Respirator with dust filter.
- Environmental precautions: do not contaminate ground water with the material. Prevent product from entering drains. Local authorities should be advised if significant spillages can not be contained.
- Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up: soak up with inert absorbent material. Pick up and transfer to properly labeled containers. Prevent product from entering drains.

Handling and storage

- Precautions for safe handling: handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Do not breathe vapors or spray mist.

Eye protection: Tightly fitting safety goggles.
Skin protection: Clothes with long sleeves.
