Description of key information

The genotoxicity was estimated by using three predictors: Vega, Sarah Nexus and Derek Nexus.

The predictors were employed in order to apply a weight of evidence (WoE) approach to enhance the reliability of the prediction. In the weight of evidence assessment only reliable predictions are to be taken into account.

Vega models predicted the target compound as mutagenic (moderate reliable - CAESAR), mutagenic (moderate reliable - SarPy/IRFMN), mutagenic (moderate reliable - ISS) and non-mutagenic (low reliable - KNN/Read-Across). Derek Nexus and Sarah Nexus predicted the target compound as inactive. Toxtree identified an alert for S. typhimurium mutagenicity and at least one positive structural alert for the micronucleus assay.

Therefore, it was concluded that Tert-Butyl methyl(2-oxopropyl)carbamate was predicted as positive for genotoxicity and the prediction was assessed as moderate reliable.
