Description of key information

The skin sensitization of the targetcompoundwas predicted employing two differentin silicoapproaches: the QSAR statistical model as provided by Vega and the decision rule system provided by Toxtree and Derek Nexus.

The three predictors were employed in order to apply a weight of evidence (WoE) approach to enhance the reliability of the prediction.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Skin sensitisation

Endpoint conclusion
Endpoint conclusion:
no study available
Additional information:

In the weight of evidence assessment only reliable predictions are to be taken into account.

In the case of the targetTert-Butyl methyl(2-oxopropyl)carbamate, Vega predicted the target compound as sensitizer but the prediction was assessed as low reliable,Toxtree identified an alert for Acyl Transfer agent but identified no protein binding alerts and Derek Nexus identified no alerts.

Thus the target compound Tert-Butyl methyl(2-oxopropyl)carbamate was predicted asnot sensitizer for the skin but a reliability assessment was not possible.
