- Stability under test conditions: Assumed stable.
- Solubility and stability of the test substance in the solvent/vehicle: N/A
- Reactivity of the test substance with the solvent/vehicle of the cell culture medium: N/A
Key result
Melting / freezing pt.:
< -80 °C
Atm. press.:
1 025 hPa

During cooling of the first experiment, no effects were observed which were due to crystallization of the test item.

To further investigate the melting temperature of the test item, two subsamples of the test item were stored for 20 hours at -23.4 ± 0.4 °C and at -81.5 ± 3.0 °C respectively. It was observed after storage that the test item was a viscous liquid (-20 °C freezer) and a very viscous liquid (-80 °C freezer). According to this it was concluded that the melting temperature of the test item is < -80 °C (< 193 K).

Conclusions:
The melting/ freezing temperature of the test substance has been determined to be < -80 ºC.
Executive summary:

The melting/ freezing temperature was determined using EU Method A.1 and Differential Scanning Calorimetry. During the cooling phase no effects were observed that were due to crystallisation of the test substance. According to the results it was concluded that the melting temperature of the test substance is < -80 ºC (< 193 K) at atmospheric pressure (1025 hPa).
