Up to 24 h a mildly reddening of the conjunctivae and an slightly edema was seen. Afterwards the conjunctivae of 1 animal was mildly reddened during the post-observation period. The other animal revealed form day 5 to 7 of the post-observation period a mildly reddening of the conjunctivae but no edema.

method: 100 µl of the liquedfied test substance (at 30°C) was applied into the conjunctival sac of 2 rabbits.
result: substance is slightly irritating. No adverse effects on cornea and iris were seen during the post-observation period in both animals.
During the post-observation time the erythema and edema scores of both amimals were below 2.
Therefore a classification is not justified.
