Description of key information

Key study: OECD guideline 211. GLP study.
It was not possible to calculate an LC50 for parental mortality as not more than 20% mortality was observed at the highest concentration tested.
Exposure to the nominal concentrations of 3.2 and 5.6 mg/l induced significant inhibition of the reproductive capacity of the parental daphnids and resulted in reduced growth of the parental daphnids when compared to the daphnids exposed to the controls. The NOEC was determined to be 1.8 mg/L.
