Description of key information

The concentration of 14.2 mg/L based on the study on biodegradability has been used to derive a NOEC for microorganisms.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

EC10 or NOEC for microorganisms:
14.2 mg/L

Additional information

Testing of toxicity on microorganisms is waived since the test substance is classified as readily biodegradable. The test substance did not inhibit the biodegradation of the reference substance in the toxicity control in a readily biodegradation test according to OECD TG310. A test substance concentration (in this context: loading rate) of 14.2 mg/L has been used in this test and a biodegradation rate of 86% after 28 days has been observed. The test substance concentration will be used to derive a NOEC for microorganisms and for PNEC derivation.
