Description of key information

The available data suggest that the aldoximes as well as the minor component Phenol, dodecyl-,branched (CAS 121158-58-5) are of low volatility and low water solubility, and will adsorb strongly to organic matter in soils, sediments and sludges. Consequently, the test substance will be immobile in soil and sediment (not withstanding movement of particles). Degradation processes in the environment are predicted to be extremely slow. If released directly to the atmosphere, hydroxyl radicals are likely to degrade the substance quickly; transport from the site of release will be limited. Bioaccumulation is expected to be moderate in fish.
