Description of key information

GLP study according to EU Method A.6.(Flask method).
Analytical Development Physical Chemistry, Schering AG, Berlin, Study report A03525 (ADP 2001_054), dated 2001-03-29.
Result: S(20) = 20.4 ± 0.4 mg/L

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Water solubility:
20.4 mg/L
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

The water solubility of ZK 57564 was determined using the flask method at 20°C to be:

S20 = 20.4 ± 0.4 mg/L

ZK 57564 can be considered as insoluble in water in accordance with the descriptive term of Ph.Eur., 3rd ed. and USP 24. The pH value of the saturated water solutions was determined to be 6.1.

(According to X-ray powder diffraction the starting material and the insoluble residues from water consist of the same solid state form.)
