Explosiveness:
non explosive

Additional information

The explosive properties of the test material were investigated using methodology outlined in the standardised guideline EU Method A.14. The study was assigned a reliability score of 2 in accordance with the criteria for assessing data quality set forth by Klimisch et al. (1997).

The substance was subjected to an evaluation of the structure in order to assess it for the presence of potentially explosive groups and the oxygen balance calculated.

The substance contains no structural groups that are indicative of explosive properties. The oxygen balance was calculated to be -176.59.

Although the oxygen balance of the substance is not adequately low to determine that the substance could not sustain explosive properties, a lack of structural alerts would mean that the substance does not have a potential to be explosive.

Based on the structural groups present it is considered that the substance does not have the potential to be explosive.
