Short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates:

EC50 (48h) = 0.20 mg/l

Toxicity to aquatic algae and cyanobacteria:

ErC50 (96h) = 43.2 µg/l

Additional information

According to the CLP Regulation (EC 12720/2008) criteria for the identification of the classification categories for hazardous to the aquatic environment, the acute toxicity test on Daphnia fixed the effect level below than 1 mg/l; this was confirmed by the data on toxicity to aquatic algae.

Therefore, the substance is classified as Category Chronic 1 and Category Acute 1 according to the CLP Regulation (EC 1272/2008).
