Description of key information

3,4-Dimethoxyphenethylamine (CAS 120-20-7) is acutely harmful to aquatic organisms, according OECD criteria.

Additional information

Ecotoxicity data for 3,4 -dimethoxyphenethylamine (CAS 120-20-7) are available only for fish (acute toxicity) and aquatic microorganisms. Therefore, (Q)SAR models were used to generate the data. In addition, a read-across approach was performed to two structurally similar substances (3,4 -dimethoxyphenylacetonitrile, CAS 93-17-4; 4 -allylveratrole,CAS 93-15-2).
