Additional information

Based on the available data on its physical and chemical properties, ITC 288/S is a white powder (median particle size between 72.6 and 82.7 µm) with a relative density of around 1.9 at 24.5°C and a vapour pressure of 0.031 Pa at 25°C. It decomposes before melting at around 366°C. It is considered as very soluble in water based on a water solubility above 2333 g/L at 20°C, not to be surface active based on a surface tension of 71.9 mN/m at 21°C for a concentration of 1g/L and to have a low potential for bioaccumulation based on a logKow value < -2.98 (determined by HPLC method).

Besides, ITC 288/S has been shown to be non flammable (EU method A10), to have a self-ignition temperature of 367°C (EU method A16), to not present oxidising properties (EU method A17). Based on its chemical structure, ITC 288/S is not expected to be explosive.
