Description of key information
In accordance with Column 2 adaptation statement of REACH Annex VII, information requirement section 7.7, this study is not needed since the substance is (hydrolytically unstable at pH 4, 7 and 9 (t ½ < 12 hr). The test substance; 2,6-Toluenediisocyanate undergoes rapid hydrolysis in contact with water with a half life of less than 10 minutes. Hence this study is technically not feasible, therefore the endpoint can be considered for waiver.
