Conclusions:
The TL50 of FAT 20041/B in this fish acute toxicity test was determined to be greater than 1000 mg/L.
Executive summary:

An acute fish toxicity test was performed with Zebra fish according to CIBA method A-11, which is quite similar to OECD Guideline 203. No mortality was observed, when the groups of fish were exposed at test concentrations 100, 300 and 1000 mg/L for 48 hours. Hence, the TL50 of FAT 20041/B was determined to be greater than 1000 mg/L.

Description of key information

The TL50 of ACID YELLOW 104 was determined to be greater than 1000 mg/L.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Fresh water fish

Fresh water fish
Effect concentration:

Additional information

In the study designated as key, acute toxicity potential of FAT 20041/B was evaluated with Zebra fish according to CIBA method A-11, which is similar to OECD Guideline 203. No mortality was observed, when the groups of fish were exposed at test concentrations 100, 300 and 1000 mg/L for 48 hours. Hence, the TL50 of FAT 20041/B was determined to be greater than 1000 mg/L.

In another study designated as supporting, the TL50 of FAT 20041/A was again determined to be greater than 1000 mg/L.
