The flammability of the test item was determined according to the European Commission Council Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008, Annex, Part A, A.10., Flammability (Solids). Therefore the test item was formed to an unbroken powder strip of 250 mm in length on a ceran plate. Then it was tried to ignite the powder train at one end with the flame of a Teclu burner. The test item melted while trying to ignite. No propagation of flames or smouldering was observed within the testing period. It was impossible to ignite the test item and therefore no main test had to be performed.
