Administrative data

First-aid measures

Following inhalation: Remove the afected person to fresh air. Get medical attention.
Following skin contact: Remove and wash contaminated clothing before re-use. Wash off immediately with plenty of water.
Following eye contact: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15 - 20 minutes. Remove contact lenses if present. If symptoms persist, call a doctor.
Following ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth with water and drink plenty of water. If symptoms persist, call a doctor.

Fire-fighting measures

Use water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide extinguishing media. No unsuitable media or hazardous combustion products are known. Fire-fighters shoud wear self-contained breathing apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Wear personal protective equipment as described in "Exposure controls / Personal Protection" section.
No special environmental precautions are required.
Remove spills immediately. Take up by mechanical means preferably by a vacuum cleaner equipped with a high efficiency filter. Flush remainder carefully with plenty of water. Avoid splashing and high pressure washing (avoid formation of aerosols). Ensure sufficient ventilation. Wash contaminated clothing.

Handling and storage

Handling: Open and handle container with care. Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid skin and eye contact.

Storage: Store at temperatures below 20°C. Keep container tightly closed in a cool well-ventilated place, open and handle carefully. Store in undamaged packaging - dry and protected from the sun.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Occupational exposure controls: ensure adequate process ventillation, especially in confined areas.

Personal protective equipment:
Respiratory protection: In case of insufficient ventilation wear respiratory equipment (P3/FPP3 mask).
Eye protection: Avoid contact with eyes. Use safety glasses with side-shields or face shield if risk of dust / aerosols due to potential skin sensitization.
Skin protection: Wear long sleeved protecting clothing when handling the substance
Hand protection: Wear protective nitrile gloves to provide physical barrier.

Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practices. Keep away from foodstuffs and beverages. Wash hands before breaks and after work.
