Description of key information

The auto flammability of the test item was determined according to the European Commission Regulations (EC) No. 440/2008,
A.16. Auto-flammability (solids - determination of relative self-ignition temperature).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

No self-ignition temperature was observed up to the maximum test temperature of 402 °C, according to the testing guideline for auto-flammability (solids - determination of relative self-ignition temperature) in the sense of the European Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008, Method A.16.[1]

[1]Due to the size of the exothermic effect it cannot be excluded that the test item shows a self-ignition under other regulations (e.g. UN Manual of Test and Criteria).
