As a result of the initial low rate of enthalpy change during decomposition, the onset temperature could only be approximated.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The test material boiled at 375 ± 1 K and on loss of water, the resulting residue decomposed from approximately 470 K at 98.53 kPa.
Executive summary:

The boiling point of the test material was assessed. The determination was carried out by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) using the procedure specified in the standardised guidelines EU Method A.2 and ASTM E537-86.

The test material boiled at 375 ± 1 K and on loss of water, the resulting residue decomposed from approximately 470 K at 98.53 kPa.
