EU REGULATION (EC) No 1907/2006, Annex VII, states that a study on the melting/freezing point does not need to be conducted if the freezing point is below -20°C. The test substance was cooled to a temperature of -20°C and remained a liquid, hence a key value of -20°C was carried forward in the chemical safety assessment.
