Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

There are two studies available for two separate genus of freshwater fish. Difficulties were encountered in solubilising the test substance. The LC50 values of >18.5 mg/L and >18.7 mg/L are based on the results of the limit tests. In both cases a NOEC is based at the highest concentration of the limit tests of 18.5 mg/L and 18.7 mg/L.

Additional information

In two separate studies the acute toxicity of the test substance to the rainbow trout (Salmo gairdneri) and fathead minnow (Pimephales promelas) was determined. Spec ifically regarding 96-hour, static, aquatic effects on the two genus of fresh water fish. Both studies experienced difficulty solubilising the test substance and completed a limit test, to a higher dose level that more closely approximated the aqueous solubility of the test substance. Tests were completed in duplicate and the limit test LC50 (96h) was >18.5mg/L and NOEC (96h) >18.5 mg/Lin both studies.
