Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
AES melted and decomposed (starting at about 150°C) before boiling occured.
Executive summary:

Between 141 °C and 148 °C the test item rose in the capillary tube and bubbled for some seconds. However a current stream of bubbles could not be observed. Above 150 °C the melt evolved black spots and later changed to greyish. At about 300 °C the test item turned orange. At about 350 °C black spots were observed. After the test, a dark orange and partly black residue remained.
