According to the REACH regulation Annex IX column 2, studies on the biodegradation in water and sediment do not need to be conducted if the test item is readily biodegradable. However, additional data obtained from a wastewater simulation test conducted in accordance with OECD guideline 303A is available for the substance EC 931-700-2. This data is provided here for the sake of completeness. In this test domestic sewage was exposed to the test item after an adaptation period of 7 days, the degradation was 94.9 % (solid) after 16 days.
