Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
Based on the very low BCFs of < 0.88 to < 5.6 for 3-chloropropene little or no bioaccumulation in aquatic organisms is anticipated. This is believed to be the case for AC Light Ends as well.
Executive summary:

The Bioconcentration potential of 3 -chloropropene was evaluated in an O.E.C.D. 305 C Bioaccumulation Test in Cyprinus carpio by flow-through exposure. Based on the very low BCFs of < 0.88 to < 5.6 for 3 -chloropropene little or no bioaccumulation in aquatic organisms is anticipated. Similar findings are perdicted for AC Light Ends.
