Burning time:
ca. 2.5 min
Remarks on result:
substance does not ignite and propagate combustion either by burning with flame or smouldering along 200 mm of the powder train within the 2 minutes test period

Any other information on results incl. tables

Trans-4 -Aminocyclohexanol was formed in a wedge-shaped pile with a length of 25cm, a width of 2cm and 1cm in height. An attempt was made to ignite the test substance with the flame of a gas-burner.

The test substance melted in contact with the ignition source. The melted substance burned with an orange flame. After about 2.5 minutes the flame extinguished. No propagation throughout the test substance pile was observed.
