Findings

Relative density

EEC A.3 (CIPAC MT 3.2)

Absolute - 1.522 g/mL

Relative  - 1.522

Conclusions:
The relative density of theobromine is 1.522 at 20ºC.
Executive summary:

The density of theobromine was determined using the Gay-Lussac pycnometer in accordance with EEC Method A3 (CIPAC MT 3.2.1). The mass of the substance occupying a unit volume at 20˚C (GLP study) was measured. The average measured absolute density at 20°C was 1.522 g/mL, and the average calculated relative density at 20°C temperature was 1.522.

Description of key information

Key study. EU Method A.3. GLP study. The relative density at 20 ºC was 1.522.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
1.522

Additional information
