Results and discussion

Any other information on results incl. tables

A test substance is considered pyrophoric when it ignites within five minutes of coming in contact with air.

None of the components of the test substance does contain groups that might lead to ignition in contact with air. Moreover the test substance was handled under normal laboratory conditions during the determination of physico-chemical properties. It demonstrated that the test substance does not ignite in contact with air at room temperature.

In conclusion, NS-1000 has no pyrophoric properties.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
other: no pyrophoric properties
Conclusions:
From a GLP-compliant statement based on structural features and experience in handling, it was concluded that the substance has no pyrophoric properties.
