Endpoint:
partition coefficient
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
2010
Reliability:
2 (reliable with restrictions)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
other: Determination run according to standardized method, no GLP compliance
Qualifier:
according to
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 123 (Partition Coefficient (1-Octanol / Water), Slow-Stirring Method)
Deviations:
yes
Remarks:
Some adjustments have been done. The concentration of the surfactant is below the CMC value, pH has been adjusted to 6
GLP compliance:
no
Type of method:
shake-flask method to: flask method
Remarks:
slow stir
Partition coefficient type:
octanol-water
Type:
log Pow
Partition coefficient:
-0.4
Temp.:
25 °C
pH:
6
Details on results:
The measurements were made at pH 6 and at an initial concentration of 22 mg/L in the water phase (ca 1% of the critical micelle concentration (CMC) in water).

The measurements were made at a pH 6 and at an initial concentration of 22 mg/L in the water phase (about 1% of the critical micelle concentration (CMC) in water) and at 25°C. The partition coefficient value was determined from the weighed average of the concentrations of the main components in the product listed in the table below.
