Additional information

An experimental study compliant with the guidelines (Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008, A1 Capillary method and OCDE guideline n°102), selected as the Key Study, showed that the reaction mass of AlF3, CrF3 and NiF2 does not melt below 400ºC. Then, the melting point of the reaction mass of AlF3, CrF3 and NiF2 is considered to be above 400°C at normal atmospheric pressure.
