Considering that:
- the 3 main components of the reaction mass (AlF3, CrF3 and NiF2) does not contain any chemical group associated with oxidising properties (according to table R.7-29 of Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment Chapter R.7a: Endpoint specific guidance (ECHA, 2008)
- and that the metal oxides : Al2O3 and Cr2O3 (present at 1% each) are refractory components which do not release oxygen in order to oxidise combustible materials,
the reaction mass
of AlF3, CrF3 and NiF2 is unlikely to be oxidising.
