The toxicity of silatrizole to terrestrial organisms was investigated in one short-term toxicity test (earthworms, OECD 207, Klimisch 1) and two long-term toxicity tests (plants, OECD 208, Klimisch 1; microorganisms, OECD 216, Klimisch 1). In all three tests, no deleterious effects were observed up to the highest test concentration (1500 mg/kg dry soil) and it was not possible to quantify any short-term EC50 or long-term EC10, respectively. Silatrizole did only exhibit a slight stimulation effect on the activity of soil microorganisms.
