Additional information

Based on read-across from analogue substances, there is no need to classify the substance for environmental hazards, as effects on (aquatic) target organisms were not observed for the analogue substances up to and including the solubility limit in test medium. Considering that the analogue substances Alcamizer P93 and Alcamizer 5 both contain additional elements and ions as compared to Aluminium magnesium carbonate hydroxide, which are potentially of concern to the environment, the environmental classification of the analogue substances has not been adopted.

Conclusion on classification

The substance does not need to be classified for environmental hazards.
