Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The toxicity of the substance to the freshwater green algae (Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata) over a period of 72 hours was tested under GLP applying static conditions in accordance with OECD TG 201. The test was performed at a limit concentration of 0.32 mg/L substance (saturated solution according to OECD Series No. 23) and based on a preliminary range-finding test. The substance conentration of the test solution and the control were analysed by HPLC-DAD at test start (fresh media) and after 72 hours (old media). The measured concentration after 72 hours indicates a recovery rate of 99 % of the initially measured concentration. Thus, effect values are based on mean measured concentrations of the substance.

An inhibition of the growth of the freshwater green alga was not observed after 72 hours exposure to the substance. The EC10- and EC50-values for inhibition of growth rate after 72 hours were estimated with > 0.32 mg/L, respectively.
