- According to the REACH Regulation Annex VII, Column 2 the study does not need to be conducted if the melting point is above 300°C and if the melting point is between 200°C and 300°C, a limit value based on measurement or a recognised calculation method is sufficient. The test substance decomposes before melting at temperature above 244 °C.

The thermal behaviour of the substance was tested by DSC from 25° to 500°C showing an esothermic effect onset at 299.4 °C. Specific rules for adaptation as described in Column 2 Annex VII can be applied and vapour pressure determination does not need to be conducted.
The minimum value accepted by software calculation for chemical safety assessment is considered. The calculated value is 1.26E-020 Pa
