Endpoint:
appearance / physical state / colour
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
weight of evidence
Study period:
March 17, 216
Reliability:
2 (reliable with restrictions)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
test procedure in accordance with generally accepted scientific standards and described in sufficient detail
Principles of method if other than guideline:
Laser light scattering. The test was performed according to the SOP 071 Ed.03 (Hydro 2000S-A) protocol.
The particle size distribution was analyzed using the Mastersizer 2000 tool, which uses the technique of laser diffraction to measure the size of particles. It measures the intensity of light scattered as a laser beam passes through a dispersed particulate sample. This data is then analyzed to calculate the size of the particles that created the scattering pattern.
GLP compliance:
no

Form:
powder
Conclusions:
The test substance is a solid at 20 °C and 101325 Pa (MMD= 42.234 µm).
Executive summary:

Method

The substance was tested for granulometry by the volumetric distribution.

Results

MD10 = 18.375 µm

MD50 = 42.234 µm

MD90 = 82.680 µm
