The octanol-water partition coefficient of the test material was investigated in accordance with the standardised guidelines OECD 107 and EU Method A.8 under GLP conditions. The study was awarded a reliability score of 1 in accordance with the criteria for assessing data quality set forth by Klimisch et al. (1997).

The partition coefficient was determined using the shake-flask method. Six partitions were carried out and the shaking was performed by inversion of the flasks through approximately 180° over a five minute period. After separation via centrifugation the concentration of the test material in the sample solutions was determined by ion chromatography (IC).

The partition coefficient of the test material has been determined to be 2.78 x 10^-3 at 22.2 ± 0.5 °C, logPow of -2.56.
