Styrene has harmonized classification at EU level in accordance with the CLP and DSD/DPD criteria and it is classified as being Flammable Liquid 3 (H226: Flammable liquid and vapour) and R10 flammable liquid substance.

 

The value for flashpoint of styrene of 31°C (closed cup) are reported in handbooks and referred in the International Chemical Safety Card (ICSC 0073) developed by the International Programme on Chemical Safety (IPCS) and in the EU Risk Assessment Report for Styrene.
