Description of key information

For the dilithium adipate, based on lithium analysis, the water solubility of the test substance was 343 g/L at 20°C and, based on adipate analysis, the water solubility of the test substance was 406 g/L at 20°C. 

For the dilithium azelate, based on lithium analysis, the water solubility of the test substance was 192 g/L at 20°C, but the results based on azelate analysis were not conclusive. 

For dilithium sebacate, based on lithium analysis, the water solubility of the test substance was 76.6 g/L at 20°C and, based on sebacate analysis, the water solubility of the test substance was 68.5 g/L at 20°C.

Additional information

All three studies are GLP compliant and follow OECD guideline 105 and EU method A6. Therefore, they are given a reliability rating of 1 (reliable without restrictions). The mean water solubility based on lithium is 203.9 g/L and the mean water solubility based on the salt is 237.3 g/L.
